Healer's Boon Monk. It's on the PvX Wiki under the Great Working PvE Builds section, named "GoLE Healer's Boon Healer" or something like that.

That's what's demanded anyway...

I use a restoration rit... no other healer needed in party, though it's nice if one player has hex removal.

HB is expected if your party is Ursan or doesn't use a tank. If you use a tank, HB isn't efficient.. go with WoH or some other targeted heal build. If you use a tank but the non-tanks are newbs... stick with HB. :-)

excuse me? non-tanks are newbs? did i read that correctly?

the HB build is definitely needed when going ursan. if you aren't going with ursans, then a standard WoH bar should be good.

Depends what the rest of the team build looks like. In your average ursan PUG, the standard HB build mentioned above should be fine. I would throw in [seed of life] and maybe [Healing seed]as well and bring [extinguish] instead of [dismiss condition] especially if you're using an essence of celerity.

A good/preferred build would be one that: makes up for your partners craptastic bar/ complements your partners amazingly effective bar. Know which you need to build first lol. HB is party healing spam mostly and made immensely popular by UB teams. People will ping you that build who have never monked ever and swear you must use it. Your call.
In most cases a WoH hybrid bar is more than enough. If your partner has no condi removal maybe go RC + Mend Touch and cover that. Have a resto rit on the team? Than spec all Prot and hex removal to cover his weakness in those areas.
Wiki isn't as bad as most people complain. I'm not recommending it though by any means. Don't turn any of them into some kind of 'holy grail' as your build can and should change as needs do.

need to know more about what your team is running before i can say for sure.

IMO if your running 2 monks, A Woh and a SoD
[build=OwYT04nCRSjoBUgoeAZYTrlIgAA]
[build=OwYS8YIPDkZSJRLiMuJfvAC]

i like to take out [sig of devotion] and put in [watchful healing] so i have a leet cover enchant. Didnt post it that way do stay away from flames :O

you can also change the SoD monk for a LoD monk.
[build=OwYT04XCzpuOTEIaRkxNplcXBA]
If you use the LOD id take out [Aegis] from the woh monk and add in [Shield of Absorption] on him as well and just make sure you dont over cast it

Before any 1 says "oh you need this, and that etc" change the builds to your liking, every 1 is going to like different skills so...

When I feel the PvE urge :/ I generally just run full prot as there are so many HB monks that the healing just overlaps more often then not.

Agreed. I did FoW with 6 heroes, and two of those heroes were monks. They out-performed any human monk I've seen. From going into FoW time and time again, I think the biggest (and only) threat to the party aside from hydras is SS/Empathy. With a DH hero monk, and a WoH (or HB) hero monk, all hexes are removed indiscriminately, which is fine. They still had plenty of energy left to heal and "pre-prot" (ok, I microed that part).

Up until a few weeks ago I had never used Seed of Life. I never needed it, but when I did, I certainly understood why it's used an abused. It's a great way to be lazy! The biggest difference I noticed between AI monkage and human monkage in Tyrian zones is that the heroes prioritize better. People see red bars go down in FoW, so they slap on a heal, or even a prot spell, but you'll just have to do that all over again if you don't DH off MoP and SS.

What I'm saying is this: Research the area you're going into, and find suitable monk counters. But don't just HAVE the bars, play them according to the area.

I second the Divert recommendation; you get a lot of mileage out of that skill in FoW.

Did I just see SoD recommended for PvE? O_o

I use SoD in the Fissure all the time with a full prot bar when I get a chance to borrow a Guild mate's heroes. I just put Empathic Removal on a Fiend MM and run a Smiter's Boon hero. I haven't really found Divert to be very useful...

I always thought it best to have condition remover when going down to the FoW.

This depends very much on the team.
There are not that many 'dangerous' conditions down there, the hexes are the main problem.

The only build where I did bring a condition remover was my smiter but that was more a fun test build.
